As the brand-chef of the "Morskyi Dim" company, Ilya not only gained recognition for his culinary talents, but also actively works to popularize authentic Asian cuisine in Europe.
Education:
Ilya received his fundamental knowledge of Asian cuisine after many years of study and practical training. He is a graduate of one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the field of sushi preparation — Japanese Sushi Skills Institute in Tokyo. The uniqueness of this institution lies in the fact that it teaches not only technical skills, but also the philosophy of cooking Japanese dishes, where every movement of the cook matters. This level of training allowed Ilya to become a real master in his field.

Ilya is actively working on the development of menus for restaurants of various formats — from street food establishments to premium restaurants. This experience allows him to create universal solutions that are suitable for both mass audiences and gourmets. Attention to detail and a deep understanding of the gastronomic needs of various customers have made him one of the most influential experts of Asian cuisine in Ukraine.
Experience and achievements
In 2013, Ilya Chervenko took part in World Sushi Cup Japan — international competition, where he demonstrated his culinary skills and raised the level of Ukrainian cuisine on the world stage. Participation in such a competition — always a good opportunity for professional development. And Ilya shares this incredible experience with the Ukrainian restaurant business.
Ilya Chervenko did not limit himself to studying at culinary institutes. For a deeper understanding of the traditions and tastes of Asian cuisine, he traveled a lot to the countries of the Far East, including Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and China. During these trips, Ilya studied authentic recipes, local culinary traditions and learned the details of cooking directly from the masters. This experience became key to his understanding of how to preserve the authenticity of dishes while adapting them to the tastes of the European public.
One of the biggest challenges facing chefs working with authentic cuisine is — it is an adaptation of dishes for a different audience. Ilya Chervenko skillfully adapts Asian culinary traditions to the needs and tastes of the Ukrainian consumer, while preserving the key elements of authenticity.
