Cup of Ukraine with cooking “Skhidny region” 08/12/14/2019 in Kharkov

For the second year in a row, our company “Sea House” acted as an honorary partner at the Ukrainian Culinary Cup “Eastern Region 2019” in the city of Kharkov.  The event was organized by the Association of Chefs of Ukraine in the Eastern Region and the Al Cuisine culinary school.

 Chefs from all over Ukraine took part in the competition, competing in 3 categories:

Junior chefs (under 23 years old) compete in the “Main Dish” category. (meat and\or poultry and\or fish and\or seafood).
The finalists of this nomination compete in the category "Golden jacket, junior cook 2019" (black box*).

Cooks, sous-chefs and chefs compete in the following categories:
- Main course - Ukrainian cuisine;
- Main course - fish and/or seafood;
- Main course - meat and/or poultry.
The finalists of these nominations compete in the category "Golden Jacket, Chef 2019" (black box*).

Confectionery chefs compete in the following categories:
- Dessert is a world classic;
- Dessert - modern Ukrainian cuisine.
The finalists of these nominations compete in the category "Golden jacket, confectioner 2019" (black box*).

Teams of cooks (3 members per team) compete in the category “Golden Jacket, Team 2019” (black box*). The team prepares three dishes: appetizer, main course and dessert.

* black box - dishes are prepared from products provided by partners, the list of these products is announced immediately before the start of any nomination in the “black box” format.

We had the opportunity not only to demonstrate our new products at the stand: Yamasa, Sriracha Huy Fong soy sauces, Lee Kum Kee Asian sauces, Asian salads, but also to provide products for the competition participants themselves.  It should be noted that Ukrainian chefs, regardless of experience and specialization, are not afraid to experiment and create something completely new and interesting.  And we are glad that we also inspire them to do this!
